A Pleasant Period

Now that my flow was under control I still wanted to find a way to minimize how many tampons and pads I was using (yes, I had to use both). While scrolling through one of my favorite online forums I came across a post for the Diva Cup. I was immediately disgusted and thought those woman had lost their minds. I never wanted to be THAT in touch with my inner woman. Curiosity got the best of me though and down the rabbit hole I went. Long story short, I ended up purchasing one.

I was thrilled to not have to buy tampons anymore nor worry about Toxic Shock Syndrome but it had something of a learning curve for me. Took me about 6 months to get it down (don’t judge me) while I tried different folds until I found what worked best for me. When I went to the Diva Cup forum on the site and saw young ladies as young as 13 had mastered the art of the cup and were singing its praises, my pride wouldn’t let me go back to the tampons. It’s here that I learned of the various tips and techniques for making the cup work for you.
